Reading striker Kevin Doyle says he intends to stay at the club despite being linked with a move.

Doyle is currently with the Reading team on tour in Sweden, although he missed the match against Lerkils IF on Saturday because of an injury.

He told BBC Radio Berkshire: "I cannot predict the future, but unless the manager sells me I will be here."

Reading beat Swedish part-timers Lerkils 1-0, with Shane Long scoring the goal in the first half.

The final match of the Royals' three-match tour is against Swedish Premier League side Halmstads BK.

Reading will again be without Graeme Murty, who has played no part in the tour matches so far. The Reading captain has failed to recover from a calf-strain.

Clubless Wales international winger John Oster played a full 90 minutes for Derby County on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old trialist, who has been without a club since leaving Reading at the end of the 2007-08 campaign, was involved in a 1-1 draw away to Oldham.

Tito Villa scored the Rams' goal after 15 minutes with Oldham equalising seven minutes later.

Polish midfielder Presmislav Kazmeerjak made his Derby debut but was replaced by Robbie Savage in the second half.

Derby travel to Mansfield on Saturday for their next pre-season friendly.
