What a day!!! Reading win 3-1 beating Sheff Utd (i love it when we do that) and Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0!!! All i need is for Man Utd to beat Arsenal tomorrow and im set for a great weekend!

OK game of the day got to be Reading v Sheff U. This always proves to a fisty game and it didnt disappoint!! No Kitson (pulled out in warm up), Doyle (injured) and Shorey (illness), but Long and Murty managed to shake of their injuries and were back. Convey was back on bench and made an apperance late on.

Game started well and there were chances from both sides. Best chance, which the reading fans thought had gone in was from Captian Marvel himself, Murty only for Paddy Kenny to save the effort - why did he have to do that?? we want a Murty goal again :)

First goal came from the young irish striker Shane Long, in for his injured counterpart Doyle and he didnt disappoint! He ran his socks of and was def my MOTM!! Fantastic goal too and the celebration - poor Kinsley the mascot he got hammered by the players

De La Cruz, who i wasnt impressed with when he first joined played amazing and had his second start and great game on the trot. He got the second goal and deserved it!!

Things kicked off though when Gillespie had come on as a sub, but was soon off the pitch again! He came on and had a go at Hunt, elbowing him in the face, not just once but twice. Only to have another go at him, while the ref was trying to sort things out. Stupid or what and to do it bang smack in front of the linesman as well!! Only one choice but to send him off and thats where he went! He hadnt even touched the ball. Things then kicked off again between Neil Warnock (sheff u manager) and the reading coaching staff and that was it they were sent to stands too. From then on the game was very firey, but justice was done when Hunt scored the winner and what a goal too!!! Sheff U got one back, but not enough to stop us and we go 7th in the table :) :) FANTASTIC!!! Luck of the irish continues!! only thing that would have made my day would have to have been doyle being on the pitch too and grabbing a goal, but was not to be :( Only four more players (Little, Oster, Convey, Murty) to grab goals now this season and weve got a full house again and who said we cant score goals!!!

football, hunt, murty, warnock, long, sheff u
