Another 3 points....

wow we beat brimingham!! they were 3 much needed points!!! thank god. however i wouldnt have predicted the scorer though - Andre Bikey our center-back!!! but i dont care, we won!!!!

i didnt actually see the first goal because i was too busy watching Oster take the free-kick (i was willing it to go in from oster's kick) but was so glad that it hit the back of the net anyway!!! i didnt mind who scored, as long as we won (although a oster or a doyle goal would have been nice but u cant have everything).

the only change in the team was Kitson in for Long but that we had kind of guessed after last weekend. Murty was still out injured :( but i can honestly say Rosenior is improving every game (still want murty back though). Midfield seemed to be the problem again today, Harper and Marek didnt seem with it and it wasnt Hunt's best game either, although what a strike he had (it had done the goalie, but dam the crossbar!) Apart from a couple of iffy moments (1 being the brum goal), the defence were in control and marcus made some amazing saves.

Im my opinion Oster played out of his skin today, trying to prove everyone wrong. he was creating chances (what an assist), making the runs (could have had a couple of goals himself), running across the whole of midfield, switching wings with Hunty. he had a great game and so glad to see him like it esp after the abuse he got last week. Yes he did lose the ball a few times, but what player doesnt? u cant tell me that kitson didnt lose a single ball all game?????? but as usual after the game the debate about Oster continued, the majority of them were slagging him off again, but it was nice to hear a few more people supporting him and paising how well he played!!

Doyle also had a good game (yes i know that u all think im biased towards these two players but this is from a footballing view not fan'girl view). Yes i know he didnt score again but he was the only striker on the pitch that was holding the ball up (until Long came on) and waiting for some help. he made some great runs and was unlucky not to score himself today. just the one is all he needs and that will be it, he will on a roll.

MOTM for me today had to be either BIkey or Oster, they both deserve it to be honest!! so its tie. we needed the points today, but next week is going to be a hard one - blackburn at home! esp as they beat wigan 3-1 today.

anyway here are a few pictures:
