How much do i love stephen hunt right this second????? the guy is on fire - 3 in 3!!! love it!!!
for those of u who dont know reading won today (meaning we have taken 7 points out of the last 9) and it was Hunty that won us the game (started us off against liverpool and got us a point last weekend to against brum).
Ok starting from beginning: went to players enterence (wanted to get my mate's christmas present signed) and as we get there Murty is pulling up!! talk about perfect (he's her fave) also got my pic of him from when we were made champions from last years game against derby signed!!! but my mate didnt want to wait :( so i missed Doyle and Long (not happy about that - they arrived after i left!!)

Got into the ground and was shocked to see Gunnarsson starting as he was meant ot miss this one out after his injury last week but was happy he was there!!
Team - Marcus, Murty, Ivar, Sonko, Shorey, Hunt, Convey, Harper, Gunnarsson, Doyle and Kitson. Subs - Fed, Long, Lita, Cisse and Bikey
we were all over sunderland in the first half and were unlucky not to get a few goals - so many chances!! but Ingimarrsson got us 1-0 up in the second half and we were going mad - celebration was right by me but couldnt get the camera out quick enough!!! revenge was to be had against sunderland for them beating us 2-1 in september! and we had it.
But Chorpa had to spoil it and go and score from the penalty spot! evil!!! made us sweat abit more and they looked like they were going to just nick it but marcus pulled off some great saves yet again!! well done marcus
BUT my irish boys did it again!! Long came on for Convey and in the ball went towards them, Long missed it but at the same time directed it to Hunt and over it went (although some clain that it didnt) - was v confusing to begin with as the linesman had given it but not the ref. after a while he gave it and the sunderland players were not happy!!! went right up to the ref, while we were celebrating. i want to see the replays as not sure - but their penalty definalty didnt look like a pen from where i was sitting!!!
So Hunty one it again!!!! no makes him joint top scorer with Doyle and Kitson!!!! bless him, played his socks off yet again! as did marcus, some fantastic and vital saves.
But i must say yet again, welcome back Bobby Convey - he is our key at the moment, put it down the left wing and he will run and create chances, but also when he is needed he will be running back to defend with the rest of them. He has also formed a great partnership with Hunty as they switch between the left and right wings - works so well!!! glad to have him back. he's a real danger for our opposition!
Doyle and Kitson also working well but i have a few issue with Kitson....if only he would jump for the bloody ball and not be so selfish. a few time recently (including today) he has taken shots himself when someone else has been open or when going for a header, hasnt jumped to get it - he's 6ft odd so he should be jumping - he would beat the opponent everytime if he moved off the ground!!! as much as it is working between Doyle and kitson i would love to see Doyle start a game with Long!!! just once this year...but then again Long is a fantastic super-sub, changes the game everytime he comes on!!!! so guess i cant have it both ways.
next game - west ham away on boxing day and a vital game for us to carry on this good run - i shall be there as usual (its on sky so keep an eye on the game) revenge is needed yet again after they beat us 3-0 at home earlier this season!!!
