Footy Review and all that!
Doyle and Long have been nominated for the FIA player of the year awards!! Doyle has been nominated for the senior award along with Shay Given and Long has been nominated for young player of the year (and therefore a contender to steal Doyle's crown from last season!) Well Done Guys, you deserve it!
So went to Brum last weekend and was so glad that we got a point!!! ok so i was nervous when we went 1-0 down after 4 mins!! but after listening to walked_onwater, who said we would turn it around in the second half, we did!! i wasnt sure when hunty picked the ball up again, after gaining a penalty for us (yea i know he scored on against liverpool, but still ....) but credit to him, 2 in 2 games!! yay!!!! celebration right in front of us too!! thanks hunty! a point was def a bonus - 4 points in 2 games is great, never thought we would have got points against liverpool, but that just shows never write us off!!!
also had fantastic seats - 4 rows from the front but right by the tunnel where the away team comes out of to warm up before the game. got to stand right near the tunnel for when the team came out!!! loved it. also insead of going in in a group, the players came off one at a time, so got some good pics!
off to the game tomorro - sunderland so the first visit of Roy Keane to the mad stad (me - very happy, sorry but i loved Keane as a player!!) but come on URZ!!!!! off to the players enterence too before the game!!!
also if rumors to be true - to all you everton fans - you cant have Hunty! he's not for sale!! the daily mirror reported today that Everton are going to put a £3 million bid in for Hunt in january.NONONONO he's ours - hands off!!!
