Captain Harper!!!
I know this is a few days late, but better late than never!
Reading played Swansea in the Carling Cup on tuesday and after extra time won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Leroy Lita who was playing his first game of the season!!! thank god - i was beginning to get worried! Coppell put out a strong side, but swansea matched us and gave us a run for our money thats for sure!!! We find out who we have got in the 3rd round on saturday at 12.15! (will find out before we head off to the game!)
But for the cup game, James Harper was given the honor of being captain for the first time in the absence of Murty and Ivar! (he was also the most senior player on the pitch!) However in all things James Harper, he didnt wear the armband on this arm - it was too big for him so he wore in over his shinpads - only Harps would do that :lol: hes also threatening not to give it back to Murty on saturday (id like to see him try that one :))
