Long time no update...
Yeah I know.. I'm still here... hanging on by the "hair of my chinny chin chin!" I started school this past week. I'm taking 2 classes again. Except one's an Internet class, and the other is on Saturday. Not exactly the typical school schedule, but it was one that wouldn't interfere with my work. Work has been just that... Work. And then we've also been planning a Surprise Bridal shower for one of my co-workers. It's just all crazy.
My Internet class is Medical Terminology. It's funny because in a regular class you would just go for one night a week for a 3 hour session. I've had to complete a different assignment this past week since Tuesday. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but I haven't done anything like this so I'm still trying to get the hang of it. The only thing I wished was better was that I didn't have dial-up, and that my USB port was working. I dunno what's going on with that, but I'll just have to use the touch pad for now. It's not htat convienent when you wanna play a game on Yahoo or something... na'mean (to quote Lana). **I know I'm bad at calling people back girly, but I'm still here. * see sentence 1. :-D
And the worst part about classes are the Fricken Books! My phys & anat. book was $159!!! Good thing I have an aunt and grandmother that care about me and want me to be more than what I am right now. Bad thing about it was that they're counting the money for my books as my early birthday gifts. It's ok, the sacrifice will be worth it in the end. I went to Half-Price Books and got a medical dictionary for cheap, and even got a coloring workbook - practically brand new for under $6 !! i was happy... I like to have visual references and this will help a lot. Now if i can just find some inexpensive P&A flash cards or something... I'll be set and worry free. I still don't have my other book for my med Term class. everytime i've gone to the bookstores, they are out.. Does that mean A lot of people are taking the course... I dunno.. I just hope I can keep up and not get too frustrated at my dial up... because then i'll be spending more time in the library, which couldn't be entirely a bad thing. It only takes me about 5 minutes to get to the campus. There could just be too many distractions... you know... "Eye Candy" - I know... i was in there today... and they're not bad! Not like I can do anything else but look. The way school and work are going.. that's all i'm gonna have time for. I gotta kick these classes out and make good grades!!!
