I didn't post yesterday and that was my goal to post daily in August, so I'm babbling extra hard to make up for it. *looks down modestly* I do what I can.
I've been having an absolute blast commenting on folks stories this year. I've just thrown caution to the wind and saying what I feel and really expressing the fun that I'm having reading these stories. I'm no longer afraid (much) of getting spanked for not commenting in the way the writer wanted me to! Positive growth, go me! That's my major online phobia. In RL, I do have a tendency to babble on and on until I say something socially awkward, vaguely insulting or kinda sorta wow, uncomfortable. If I wasn't as cute as a bug in a rug, I'd have a lot more trouble than I do. And most people know Mr. R so they figure that their impression of me as slightly creepy can't be right--why, look at her really normal, nice husband! Weirdos don't hook up with nice people.
Oh yes they do. They do all the time. *pats self on back*
Hah. See? I do it online too!
I'm posting a drabble for you tonight because tomorrow Mr. R is taking me away from all this,min-vaca, hotel-style. *fistpump*
I have this real need to do Mariposa timestamps. Sadly, no one will be Eros in these....
DRABBLE!

"What day is it?"
"It's Friday."
"What day is it?"
"It's Friday."
"What day is it?"
"It's Friday."
"What day is it?"

"How. How long has it been Friday? How long have I been asking?"
"Ah. Now you're asking the right question."
"So…what…what day is it?"
"It's Friday."
"But I just asked you and you said-you said-it's not really-"
"Just because you asked the right question doesn’t make it less Friday. Sam? Are you listening?"
"Sam? Do you want to continue tomorrow?"
"Sam…?"
"What day is it?"
"It's Friday."
