Stick Shift and 10,000 BC
Monday felt like a full day of stuff. I got up early and actually went to my Myth and Religion class. Nicole didn't show up though. Weird cuz I'm usually the one that doesn't show. Then I went home to change/put on my contacts/take a shower. I talked to Bean and he told me to come over after class.
It was so funny. I only see his car in the driveway, so I think he's only home. I knock on the door, normal at first. Then I do this annoying repetitive knock and stick my hand through the slot in the door thinking he was coming to answer..but it was his sister Jen. She probably thought I was retarded. Bean and I decided we were hungry. We went to the Taproom since it's "our" place. Pasta bread, salad w/Parmesan peppercorn dressing, and a grilled chicken sandwich. We had a fun time. Next was the mall. I wanted to visit Express to look for work shirts. Sadly they only had 40 dollar ones. I tried on polo shirts and Bean said they looked good, so I bought them. I took him home at like 3:15 b/c he had to work. Then back home.
My mom gave me a lesson in the Fiero later on. My goal is to learn stick shift by July. She made me push the clutch in and disengage it like 300 times. I'd get the car to move and she'd say, now stop and do it again. She wants me to get that down pat before I start driving in traffic. I got it into second gear but then I'd have to stop for a stop sign. It was pretty fun. My mom says I'm getting better, but I still have a way to go.
I had ice skating lessons at 5:45. It hurt my feet to skate, probably since I hadn't skated in like a month I'm guessing.
Back home my mom suggested we go to Applebees since she had this gift certificate. We went to the one on Transit. Their menu is so lame now. Theres nothing interesting. I got chicken fried chicken, woo. Next stop Eastern Hills Mall.
I wanted to go to Express to look for work shirts..again. And they had some yay!! I ended up buying 3 more: 2 yellow and one blue. It only cost 14 dollars for all 3!! Awesome. Nothing else exciting at the mall. We car shopped down the street. I found an H2 for only 30,000 bucks! That's affordable almost. But the one I really wanted was this gorgeous blue w/all the fun stuff for 43,000. I also showed her my Saab I want. Then we went to the Regal.
Mondays are dollar candy night. I bought this candy called muddy bears which was chocolate covered gummies. Sounds better than it tastes. We saw the movie 10,000 BC. It was in this theater I didn't even know existed, and I've been to that regal nearly a hundred times. The movie was of course not as good as I'd hoped. I think they showed all the good parts in the preview. I peed during it, which I never do. But I just didn't have high enough interest to hold it hahah. It was entertaining though I guess. And surprisingly there were actually about 12 people in the theater w/us. Strange since that movie is on its way out with like 2 showings a day. We got home around midnight I think.
Today is my last day off before my insane 6 days in a row of work. Andrew was suppose to hang out w/me, but ditched b/c he likes to procrastinate like me on papers.
