An update on my daddy
Dad gets to come to graduation. He saw the doctor today and got permission, though he has to take it easy and keep out of the heat as much as possible. So now we're renting a wheelchair for him, but at least he'll be here.
Other than that, the news isn't so pretty. His doctor also gave him a prognosis and it wasn't very good. Basically, he's not expected to be here in 10 years. 20% chance he'll get 5 more. However, my dad's looking to prove the docs wrong yet again, so who knows. Always look on the bright side, right?
