Blockbreak
I finished class Tuesday at 11:15. Then I was sick, so after work and lunch I took a lovely three hour nap. Which meant I couldn't sleep through the night, despite my attempts. I finally got out of bed around 8:30. Lame.
I watched the OC. Jordan says I've become addicted. I say I've found another show to watch instead of doing homework. If only I could get my hands on season 2...
Jordan finally showed up after dinner. I was going crazy waiting. Seriously. Thursday was the official beginning of the Jordan Apartment Search (JAS). We saw three. The favorite is no longer available. :(
Thursday night Jordan, Kate, and I went to Steak n' Shake and met up with Britta and her "manly men" for a bit. But they were lame and decided not to go to the movie with us. Instead we stole Kyle from Sarah for a wonderful viewing of Corpse Bride. Then we went back to Kyle's and hung out far too long.
Friday we slept in. We went to the art gallery and saw the photography. I went to work. Then we went to Dubuque, where I watched OC while Jordan worked. Then we finally had our anniversary dinner at the Olive Garden (1 1/2 years!).
Saturday I watched OC (noticing a trend?) while Jordan worked. I finished season 1, but luckily Jordan finished working, so we finished season 2 of Battlestar Galactica and watched an episode of Numbers. Then Nicole and Nick arrived and we had some yummy dinners.
Gaming commenced. Risk sucked. Apples to Apples was better. I still suck at Tony Hawk.
This morning, we had pancakes and bacon for breakfast...at lunchtime. It was my first bacon attempt and I'd say it was a success. Yes world, I can cook some things. And I'm getting better.
We played the Great Museum Caper. I love that game. Then we pulled out Trivial Pursuit, 20th Century edition. We quit while Jordan and I were ahead. :)
Then it was back to Mount Vernon to look at another apartment. Almost there and I realized I left my purse at Jordan's. Which means, I don't have my keys or ID card. So I have to figure out how I'm eating until Tuesday (or dinner Monday if I'm super lucky and the mail is nice and speedy). I figure skipping breakfast won't be an issue, but I think I may need someone to kindly buy me Ratt food (I'll buy you some in repayment when I can) or get me bag lunches for meals they're not using anyhow.
I'm tired of updating, and there's not much more to tell anyhow.
Tommorow begins Philosophy of the Mind. Same room as last block, afternoon only. If only I could afford my book...
