Roadtrip = SUCCESS!
Jojo and I had good times this weekend. Friday he showed up and we had a major Buffython. Then Jordan got home. After dinner and some more Buffy, we pulled out the Masterpiece Clue, or whatever it's called. That is a fun game, but very tough. Jojo made a yummy drink. Then I forgot what it tasted like and had to try it again. :)
Saturday we were on the road on time, and arrived early, even though I got us a bit lost in town. After some Ethan time (cute, but cranky) and a bout of boredom, we convinced Brandon to come down and hang out with us. So we went to visit Violet (sleepy and cute) and eventually ended up at Perkins so Brandon could have dinner. At midnight. Brandon was feeling generous, so Jojo and I had caffiene and fries. After that we decided to let Brandon go home, so he dropped us off at the apartment. Jojo wasn't ready for bed yet, so we watched yet another episode of Buffy before bed. Then I realized I hadn't called Jordan yet, like I promised to, so I sent him a text message to let him know I didn't forget about him. He was still up, so he called me. :)
Sunday we went to my friend's bridal shower, and Jojo and I won gifts. They're great. I know you're all jealous. But really, who decides what to give as prizes? We took off when the presents started getting opened and met up with Brandon at the mall. Then Jojo got the Green Bay tour. Next time we're planning to have money so we can actually do some of the stuff instead of just pointing it out. :) We did get DQ though, curtesy of Brandon. He knows he loves me. :)
Time flew, and soon Brandon had to head out, so Jojo and I went to get some parking for the concert. $10. Lameness. But it was right there, so that was good. WIXX was having some sort of pre-concert party thing going on outside and they were drawing names for prizes, so Jojo and I tried our luck at backstage passes. No such luck. We also called Cara cuz we missed her. :) Soon it was concert time! The Graham Colton Band started us out. I wasn't impressed, but Jojo liked them. The concert was good, and Jojo had a blast. He even came out with a t-shirt. Then it was home, James, with a quick stop at the drive-thru for dinner. Face-to-face drive-thru = slow, but that's okay. Home meant talking until we fell asleep, which didn't take long.
This morning Jojo finally met my older brother before we left. We got back to Dubuque and had to watch two more episodes of Buffy before he left. :)
Then Jordan and I went to the Olive Garden for dinner. I think he missed me a bit. :) I missed him too.
Now I'm sleepy.
