I hate how during the week when I could really go for a nap, I feel like I don't have time to because of homework and shows. I'd really like a nap, but I want to finish this homework first.
In history, I asked Steve if we could turn in our newspaper topics to get approved tomorrow since I'd be out, and he seemed surprised and a little annoyed that I'd be missing Thursday, when we're having a test. I reminded him that I was going on a college visit and that it was an excused, and he was like, "Whether it's excused or not is not the point. The point is --," at which point I interrupted him to remind him that I talked to him the day he changed the test date from last Friday to this Thursday. Had it stayed Friday, like it was originally scheduled on the syllabus, I wouldn't have missed it. And he even said himself that he probably wouldn't change test dates, just quizzes and small daily grades. And when he first changed it, I told him I'd be missing that day and asked if I could make it up Tuesday, but he said to just do it after I get back.
Enh. It just annoyed me. He's the one who changed the day of the test, which is something he would normally never do, and I already discussed this with him. I know it's no big deal, but I don't like people getting snappy and acting like I did something wrong when I didn't.
Anyway, my lit project really was the most elaborate, I think. A lot of people wrote poems or made posters with the symbols from the poems on them. Some of the poems were really good too. When I brought it into the room this morning, Julie seemed really excited. She wanted to see it and turn on the light and everything. And when I got to class, she had the lights in the room off and the box's light on. It was just kind of funny watching her.
