Oh my hands!

I went climbing tonight with normalcyispasse, and rppp01a, and oh do my hands hurt! We went to the rock gym here in Tempe. I've been before, but I had not realized the timeline gap of the last time I was there. I'm still in the computer, as it turns out they have the full date, I remember late September for my friends' b-day party (his uncle owns the joint), but I had not realized it was 1996!!! I had to watch the refresher video, and basically re-learn everything since it had been so long.
I played on the beginner walls for a bit, off and on. My toes were hurting due to a certain issue, and soon my hands followed. I can feel the blisters forming. It's been ages since I so much as climbed a tree. I used to be a tree monkey when I was little, but now the closest I come is a stepstool to get something down from a really high shelf.
I'm ready to go again whenever, but it's not as easy as I remember.
Roger, and Brandon scaled difficult walls like it was nothing. Brandon even climbed using no feet on one of them (that was neat to watch).
There were some people there that you could tell had been doing this for a while. A girl with a BOOT CAST! She scaled some intense walls without using the injured foot! Jeez! While her limber, flexable, monkey-like male friends were climbing even harsher looking ones. There was even a blind woman there that was (from what I heard her husband saying) attacking some massively difficult walls. Impressive, and a little inspiring. Just give me a couple days to make sure my hands will be ok, and I should be ready to take on a couple 5-4's, maybe higher. No more babywall, (well maybe for a warm-up) I felt like I was not putting my best effort forth. We'll see.
