This pressure started on the right side of my head the morning of June 1st, and it's been here pretty consistently ever since. With no previous issues with bad headaches, much less migraines, I went to the walk-in clinic on June 8th which is when they diagnosed me with migraine and sent me out with Imitrex. I got the Imitrex prescription filled on June 11th (after the weekend) and, after much battling and worrying (I have quite the case of medicine-taking anxiety) I finally took half a tablet today, because yes, 16 days later and the pressure on the right side of my head is still here. I took the Imitrex about a little over an hour ago, and all it really did was make me dizzy, nauseous and made my head feel all funny, like you feel when you have a really bad head cold and you're all drugged up.
So has anyone experienced a migraine for THIS long? Do you think I should go back to the doctor and have them test for other things like brain aneurysms and what not?
I'm just at a loss, and don't know what to do. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
