The Office, and Why I Love It So
lately The Office has left me unsatisfied, but that is because it is ABSOLUTE TORTURE to watch Jim and Pam not be together. Pam was sooo sad in this episode too; she looked more pale, and did you notice her hair is back to how it used to be rather than curled? howevs, there were an abundance of highlights that i will now proceed to list:
- during the cold open (yes, i am all about the correct television terminology), when everyone was saying stuff into Dwight's recorder, and Karen said something about a muppet babies tattoo on his stomach.
- Michael's singular strand of beaded hair
- when Michael was doing a talking head (another fancy term! i should go into show business), and he was trying to be vague about how he and Jan were in Jamaica together, and then he goes "sex. we had sex. a lot of sex".
- a non-comedic highlight for me was the fact that Jim's first instinct is not to have Karen live near him. nice. this is promising.
- when Pam was crying and Dwight goes "WHO DID THIS TO YOU, WHERE IS HE" and then he takes his jacket off and wraps it around his waist and then right when you think it will be a tender moment, he mentions PMS. ah, dwight.
ok, i think that is all of them, but if i remember anymore i will add to this list.
