isn't that your left arm?

my right arm has been sore for the past couple of days. i am possibly sleeping on it, or the ergonomics of my desk at work are finally catching up to me. either these, or too much masturbating?

zing!

because of my right arm, i opted out of yoga last night. instead, i made roasted red pepper and sweet potato soup and, yes, it was as delicious as it sounds. and so easy too! i think i've even memorized the recipe. chop up three red peppers and two sweet potatoes and put it in a roasting pan with one chopped onion, 3 minced garlic cloved, some oil, some italian seasoning and some salt and pepper. roast in a 425F oven for one hour, stirring once. then puree the veggies with 4 cups of veggie broth and then heat in a pot over the stove. ta da! it was an amazing soup. i am all about the soups this Winter. that is, when i am not all about the masturbating. zing again!

i also buckled down and wrapped some Christmas gifts while listening to Christmas music and drinking peppermint hot chocolate with my only light coming from the Christmas tree and a small lamp. it was a bona fide holiday scene. i still have a few things to purchase, but i am making good progress. my one stumbling block is trying to find lime green croqs for TSM's mom. i've tried ordering them from amazon and even from the official croqs website, but they don't send to Canada! i have found croqs in stores, but not LIME GREEN croqs. i am at a loss. i may just have to get her pyjamas and call it a day.

i also crafted up some cards using old cards. man, i found some old cards! the cards my friends wrote in high school are loaded with inside jokes of the time. i look back on them and have no idea what we were even talking about! i do remember it being hilarious at the time, though.

oh, and one last thing: it is effing cold out there! it is negative 6 degrees celsius but feels like negative 16! to put that in american language, it is 21 degrees Fahrenheit out there and feels like 3 degrees!

get the gun!

and a parka!

weather, friends, christmas, cooking
