filling kari's void (dirty)
i must say that i don't really have a lot to say this morning, but the idea for my subject heading popped into my head and IT HAD TO BE USED.
HAD TO BE.
so last night was pretty regular in terms of thursday nights. on my way home i stopped in for groceries and saw that the Lindor halloween chocolate was 1/2 off so i got a pack of those white-filled chocolate balls (dirty) for $2.99. then i went to Shoppers Drugmart to buy milk (note: Shoppers has the cheapest milk in toronto, just so you know) and the white-filled balls (dirty again!) were only 99 cents! so OF COURSE i had to buy another pack. i wouldn't be me if i didn't. so now i am overflowing with white-filled balls. i never have a problem with too many balls!

i made this macaroni and cheese dish that called for 6 ounces of fresh spinach but i am a cheapy so i just bought a pack of frozen and threw the whole thing in, and it was definitely too much and overpowered the cheesiness of the dish. it was still pretty tasty, though, just not "mac 'n cheese" tasty.
then i read tons of old magazines and watched The Office. can that show get any better? no, i don't think it can. well, maybe if JAM finally got together, but then maybe the possibility and tension would dissipate as well. anyway, all i know is that this show is really the best show on television. i even enjoy it more than new GG episodes. yes, you read that right. i mean, nothing will compare to seasons 1-4 of GG, but seasons 5-7 just haven't DONE it for me like the used to. i wonder what will be my tv obsession in 2007?
tonight i am a lonely old spinster because TSM is out at his friends to play xbox and eat chicken wings, so i will be writing angst-filled poetry by candelight. or maybe i will watch chickflicks and bake cookies? one or the other. tomorrow i am also alone all day, so i am going to sleep in, drink a pot of coffee, and go to the market or do something equally quaint. i also should probably clean my apartment, as i am having friends over at night. sunday will be spent lazily and with expandable pants. that is all i have scheduled (have you ever met anyone who pronounces that SHEDWULD instead of SKEDWULD? it sounds so messed up, eh?).
i am not sure why i am writing my weekend plans now, though. we both know that i will be updating this again later today.
