(no subject)
i always say "give the babies what they want" and since a couple of people were wondering why i hadn't updated yet today, i am now going to. considering that all i've had for lunch is a scone AND NO COFFEE (foolish decision!) and there are precisely 22 minutes left to this work day, i cannot promise anything very entertaining. i can promise you gratuitous pictures of jim, though:

work has picked up a lot lately. we have a long weekend next weekend (for Thanksgiving Day aka Pumpkin Pie Twice Day) and our annual Congress/Conference is next Thursday, so when i am not refreshing my Friends page repeatedly, i am running around like a chicken with its head cut off (there's your cliche for today) because i am so busy ordering weird items. like today i ordered some custom made ribbons with weird phrases like "G.I.'s" on them to be stuck onto nametags. so random! i have also been ordering a lot of rewards. i am tempted to order myself a reward, like a glass trophy with "ROBYN IS QUEEN OF THE SCONES" on it or something. this is what i think about when i am not updating my livejournal.
TSM went to his internship for the first time today. he was so nervous, it was cute. he even asked me my opinion on the outfit he should wear, and i told him that the leather dog collar just doesn't look as good with assless chaps as it does with his leather shorts. owww!!! can you imagine leather shorts? that is so wrong it's right! or maybe its just wrong?
ok, 14 minutes until hometime. does that explain the delerium?
tonight is all about:
- vegetarian chili for dinner
- trying to find ovaltine at the grocery store. yes, ovaltine! i am a 70 year old woman. this is what we drink.
- mailing package off to scotland. finally.
- trying to control self to not eat remaining scones
- GILMORE GIRLS (the watching of). i read in the tv guide that in tonight's episode, Lorelai is going to decorate her house like Asia for rory who isn't going on her trip with logan. this promises to be an episode full of witty banter and no boys, which is the way i like it.
