So, here I am at my parent's house. Always exciting. Have I complained about this before? I don't know. Nonetheless, they were actually here today when I came to visit, which was nice. My cousin Jen, who has posted on here before, just arrived and so we've been cleaning up so she can get settled in. My old room is a disaster. It took like 8 bags just to get rid of all the stuff I was throwing away.
Anyhow, Community College is over! Part-ay! Wallet...yipe...Drew needs a job. Talking in the third person, there's something for my ever-benevolent surrogate pshrinks to mull over.
The band started working on recording our first full-length cd, and even the rough stuff's sounding great already, so the end result should be pretty sweet.
I just watched Mad TV for the first time in a few years. It was actually somewhat humorous. They had this bit called Kenny Roger's Jackass. Basically, Will Sasso gets hit with baseball bats a lot and shocked with cattle prods. Funny shit. The Dairy Contest was especially funny. It was like the prior violence but vomit oriented. However, there were no people dressed in animal costumes, which I always find to be hilarious. -10 points.
As Good As it Gets is on. Great movie.
"How do you write women so well?"
"I think of a man...then I take away reason and accountability."
Take that all you ultra-feminst-psycho-man-haters. Do I need that many hyphens? Probably not. However, I've realized: "When in doubt, punctuate." Most people can tell when punctuation is missing, but far fewer know when you punctuate something wrong. Then again, most people aren't that anal about it. Touche', me. A great movie about finding comedy in the most unpleasant circumstances.
Circuit City commercial. Thought about applying there, and decided against it after reading their excessive disclaimer that says basically, "If in the course of my application or employment a legal dispute arises, I agree to settle it by neutral arbitration rather than litigation so Circuit City doesn't lose face in a big national trial." Sounds reasonable, until you notice that no other retail companies I've applied for have anything similar in their applications. It just seems to imply that Circuit City is going to treat you like shit. Blech. I need money, but not that bad.
Anyhow, if any of you people out there have nice people you know who want to hire me and pay lots of money for a job in the Seattle area, please feel free to let me know. That said, goodnight!
