The Richmond Legacy: Generation 5, Chapter 6
Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Richmond Legacy! Just one bit of scheduling information before we get started -- I know I usually post on Saturdays, but lately school has been insane and I never have time even to play until Saturday... So chapters will be out on Sundays for the next two weeks after this one... Then it's SUMMER and I can post whenever I want! :D
Now that that's out of the way, let's begin!

Hello Jay! Would you like to welcome the viewers back to the story?
Jay: "Can I do it in a minute? I'm trying really hard to get this roundhouse kick down."
Oh, fine, I'll just do it. Jay says welcome back, everyone!
OMG... Ozzie... You're cleaning! Autonomously!
Ozzie: "Indeed I am. Got a problem with that?"
No no, not at all!
Wouldn't this be an interesting breakfast? Your mom, your step-grandfather, and the ghost of your dead great-great-grandmother, all eating with you?
Sydney: "So Reina. I've heard you and I are like twins."
Reina: "Nom nom nom.."
Sydney: "She's so socially awkward... Voice, how do I talk to her?"
I dunno... Talk about constellations! She likes those..
Jay: "Durr... What was I doing?"
Close your mouth! You look like a stupid turtle.
Jay: "Do turtles leave their mouths hanging open?"
No, but you still look like one.
Hope continued to paint a ridiculous amount. Her brilliant works lined the hallways, where I'd save them until she was long dead, then sell them for way more than they were originally worth. Ah, legacies :D
Jay went to the park for a grill-a-thon, and I looked around to see who all was there. A lot of the extended family seemed to be enjoying the day out.
Libby and Uriah, Travis's two children, were out together...
Behind them in the orange is Becca, one of Billy's daughters...
Maya, Becca's mom and Billy's wife, was there, and behind her, Cole's son Broderick...
Billy himself was there as well, looking quite old...
In fact the only non-Richmond at the park was this lovely lady, Krista Padgett. She reminds me a lot of Melanie, the spouse of Generation 1. I guess all the Sunset Valley sims look alike...
Jay was failing at the grill-a-thon.
And Hope was failing at fishing!
Why are you behind the science facility, anyways? Isn't Jules the one who works there?
Hope: "I was bored of being at home, okay?"
Someone looks impatient.
Sydney: "I'm making a delicious new recipe! And I want it to be done NOW!"
Well what is it??
Sydney: "You'll just have to wait and see!"
*Gasp!* Key lime pie!! Mmmm... *mouth waters*
Julianna: "Shake your groove thing, shake your groove thing, yeah yeah!"
Julianna: "Show em how we do it now!"
Nice moves.
Julianna: "You're just jealous."
Isn't Reina cute? I just love her bathrobe :3
Reina: "These are pancakes right? I couldn't really see what I grabbed from the fridge."
This is really all these two did all morning... Then Sydney would leave for work, and Hope would find something else to do.

Poor Melanie *is* stuck out of her grave... She must be really bored to be dancing with Jay, lol.
So kind of me to have accommodations for my ghosties ;)
Kate: "So like, Grandpa was a famous conductor, right? And he retired? Why would he do that? I bet he made lotsa money off that!"
Hope's got lots of admirers it seems :) She earns over 800 Simoleons every time she plays for tips!
Kylie: "So Daddy... You're the doctor, right? Can I ask you something?"
Ozzie: "Of course honey."
Kylie: "If Reina forgets to take her pills, what should I do?"
Hey Rei! Why are you doing homework in your sisters' room?
Reina: "Oh, I dunno. My room's so boring."
Do you want me to put a bug in a cage on your desk too? Is that it?
Reina: "Maybe..."
Kylie: "So Dad, will you help me with this?"
Ozzie: "Sure!"
Kylie: "Okay, we're learning sentence diagramming. So what do I do with this right here? Is that a prepositional phrase, or a linking verb?"
Ozzie: "Uh....."
Both: "What have I gotten myself into??"
Sydney: "I love you baby!"
Kate: "I love you too Mommy!"

Jay has mastered the Martial Arts skill!!! Now we know what's better than a black belt! A... whatever-this-is belt!!
Sydney: "... I wanted to do it at the theater.."
Sydney: "Because, you know, they have better music there and stuff."
Sydney: "But he didn't want to do it there. He just wanted to get it done right away! Men, they're crazy."
Sydney: "So that's how I got married in a bathroom!"

Jay: "Are you sure I can do this? I'm old, my reaction time isn't what it used to be."
You're a double-black-belt in martial arts! I'm sure you can catch a butterfly.

Jay was headed on a massive collecting adventure. I love the Collection Helper reward :D
This is my FAVORITE butterfly that he caught!!! Isn't it gorgeous??
Soon Julianna joined him and the two of them spent the evening fishing.
Hope: "You didn't just see me mess up, did you? DID YOU TAKE A PICTURE?!"

I got the idea to make a little eulogy picture. alexavo_thesims and hey_walsh are two of the people who do that.... If you don't already, you should read their legacies :D
So here's Hope's picture :( It's from when she, Liza, and Chase went to France, when Hope was a teenager.
Jay: "What's going on...?"

Jay: "WHY IS THE GRIM REAPER IN OUR HOUSE!!!"

Kate: "Well, I have a LTW."

Hope's grave was added to the family cemetery. :'(
I sent everyone out to the yard to mourn all at once. And while it WAS heartbreaking, at the same time... Well, you try sending seven people to cry over a grave at once. They cry really loudly and dramatically, and when there's seven of them... It's kind of funny xP
Reina: "Dammit, forgot to take my pills..."
This house is obsessed with Reina and her pills! I don't even know what the pills are for!

Not even painting could cheer Sydney up.

That's right, it's time for the twins' birthday!
Kylie seemed to know right away what she wanted to wish for... Kate took a little longer.
They both took a moment to mourn their beloved grandma...
Kylie: "I wished for her to come back..."
Kate: "Me too!"

Sydney: "Honey, your grandpa is dying!"
Julianna: "He's dying!!"
Reina: "Can't YOU wait ten more seconds, Ky? You'll be a teenager for 14 days, and this is our last glance of grandpa."
Kylie: "Bam."

Grim: "Hey! Stupid lady with the camera? Can you pay attention to the death at hand now?!"
Stupid lady with a camera, am I? Well... well you're just a gross old dementor! Take that!!
Jay: "No, Grim, pleeease, please don't make me die!! I'm not ready!!!"

Jay died one day after his wife. I suppose he didn't want to be away from her for too long :[
Even Sydney was upset over her stepfather's passing, and they had "disliked" each other!
Sydney: "What?! I'm not made of stone! In fact I'm over-emotional! Let my have my cry!"
*Sigh* Together once more...
Did she seriously just pee her pants?
Julianna: "Yeah, she always does that at parties. I've gotten over it."
Now that I think about it... Aren't you two a little old to be wearing those outfits? I mean, I'm about Reina's age, so you must be about my parents' age... Which is about 45... If my parents wore that kind of outfit I'd kill them...
And we have another house-wide tearfest... Well except for Sydney who's mopping up her own piss.
And here's the twins' new outfits! You'll see them better in a second. I would've given the same outfit to Kylie, but she's a little heavier than Kate. The outfit, which made Kate look thinner, made Kylie look fatter than she was, so I picked something different.
Kylie doesn't look as much like Sydney as Reina does, but I do see it. She has her mouth, nose, and chin.
With Kylie I don't see it at all. She's got Ozzie's stronger jaw, eye shape, and hair color. I guess she does have the same mouth and nose as Sydney, but with the rest of her features being so different, it just doesn't look as similar.
Here's Kate :) She rolled Angler for her fourth trait.
And here's Kylie, looking much better with makeup on. She rolled Disciplined.
And that's all I have for now! Actually there's more, but this chapter was getting ridiculously long as it was! So I'll save the rest for later.
But, I will be posting the heiress poll in a few minutes! Now that they're teenagers we might as well vote! So look for that as well!
