Okay, this is the third time I am trying to post this entry and now I am completely certain why I have not posted in such a long time. This is by far the most frustarting thing to try to do on the planet right now. I can't even recall what I was even writing about before, but I'll do my best to remember, even if it is mostly for my sake, before I throw my compter out the window, though it won't get very far, consdering I'm in the basement and the windows are at ground level. The summarization of what's been going on in my life...I'm still unemployed.
Since I'm unemployed I spend most of my days searching for jobs, watching TV and movies, window shopping, and reading. I'm attempting to read Jane Austen's complete works because PBS is showing movie versions of her six novels. So far I've read Persuasion and Northanger Abbey (and watched the movies respectively) and I am half way through Mansfield Park, hoping to finish before the movie is shown this Sunday. Each of the novels are so much different from Pride and Prejudice, which was something I didn't really expect to happen. Wentwork quickly became my new Darcy, then Tilney became my new Wentworh, and I'm not far enough Mansfield Park to have a new Tilney. I highly reccomend watching the movies and reading the novels .
I've also been watching my fair share of movies and TV. Thank God for digital cable. I've been able to discover the show produced by BBC and HBO called Extras, made by the same guys who did the British version of The Office. I've also fell in love with Hot Fuzz made by the same guys of Shaun of the Dead fame. Apparently I'm on an all things British kick, which works well for me.
Tomorrow I'm going to a job fair, so send good vibes my way.
PS- If you haven't seen Juno yet, go see it.
PPS- It seens that I've finally completed my entry, Yeah!
