Boredom is hard work

I've been doing a whole lot of nothing this break, but I still get really tired during the day.

I have been taking frequent trips to Barnes and Noble and B&N.com, buying way too many books.  I have so many books, but I can't keep myself from buying more.  I'm hoestly trying, but every time I turn around theres something else I see that I want to read.  Right now I'm in the middle of Fight Club by the ever popular Chuck Palahiuk, which I bought two years ago, started and never finished.  This happens all the time, I start books, buy more books and never finish half of them.  So, even though I'm buying new books I'm trying really hard to finish the ones I've already started before I begin anything new, no matter how tempting the two books that came in the mail today by Helen Fielding are.  I'm even thinking of going to Barnes and Noble tomorrow, but its a more I need to pass the time thing than anything else, and I promise myself I won't buy anything that costs over $10, so that pretty much limits me to getting a drink and a snack at the cafe, rather than a new book.

Also, I'm watching a lot of movies while I'm home.  I moved the unused DVD player that was sitting in the basement into my room, so now I just watch movies at night before bed.  This is totally feeding my current Colin Firth obsession, which is nothing new, but my god, that man is hot.  Of course, you can't think of Colin Firth and British romantic comedies without also including Hugh Grant, so I'm getting extra doses of sexy British men.

I even got some new icons, including 3 from the BBC's edition of Pride and Prejudice.  Ahh...wet Colin firth makes me smile.
