And then I got stung by a bee...
No, seriously, I got stung by a bee today. I walked outside to go to my car because I need to return something to the craft store, but wound up getting stung by a bee on my right pointer finger. It still hurts and is still swollen, damn bees. I'll survive, but I sincerely hope the swelling goes down sometime soon and the ice I've been using all day hasn't really been helping.
And speaking of crafts, I'm trying to complete the grandma trifecta, I have the bakin and the crocheting down, now I'm working on knitting. I figured, why not? It's another helpful craft and I like to make stuff for people and myself. Speaking of which, I did just complete a fall scarf for myself. Now, I'm just trying to get the knitting basics down before I try to make a hat that I want. Hopefully I'll catch on quicker to knitting then I did crocheting, which got me so frusturated I put it down for months before I would pick it up again.
The internship is going well, I'm a champion data enter-er. It's pretty much what I did most of this week. I'm trying to get a database put together with all kinds of info for the office and every time I'm not doing something else for the office, I work on that, which just makes the hours drag by unfortunately. Sometimes I get to do kinda fun stuff, like sit around and talk with everyone in the office and eat candy.
Firefly nights are awesome too, I'm really getting into it. In fact, I cheated a little bit today, I watched two episodes on the Sci-Fi channel, I made sure that they weren't the season finale, and I'll gladly watch them again. Even though, techniquely, since Brian so generously left the entire series here, I could watch them on DVD when ever I want. The series is great, mainly because the characters are amaing. I love how they are developed and like Stacey, I'm a little on love with Simon. I can't wait until we watch the next episodes!
