Holy Crap.

I'm only three episodes in but the second season of Dexter has my heart thumping in my throat. I am not kidding. That is good TV when you can elicit this sort of reaction out of your viewers. Every minute of every episode has my skin crawling and my heart beating a mile a minute-- I mean, how many shows can I say actually do that to me? Only this one, as far as I can tell.
In 3 hour long episodes, so much has happened, so much has made me gasp or even yelp out loud. This show is intense shit, and I love it. I need now to take a breather though, and try to fight the urge to watch another episode. I have class tomorrow, and I don't want to be up until 4 am watching Dexter. I have a paper due (first I have to read a 300 page book that I don't even have) on Wednesday and I'm afraid the draw of Dexter is too strong to bother with the paper. I mean, obviously I will end up doing it but I'll most likely end up finishing it Wednesday afternoon just before class because I know up until the very last moment I'll want to see whats happening in the world of Dexter Morgan, the serial killer with a heart.
Jesus, Michael C. Hall is just the best that there is... no question.
