Yesterday
You know how I said Tuesday? I actually got my tattoo last night. I highly recommend Insane Ink studios on Oaklawn Avenue near the Warwick Mall and Mardis Gras. Dennis was awesome, and I can vouch for his artistic talent (he drew up Caitlin's tattoo and it came out awesome!)
With me though, I figured this time it should be my own drawing because well, I'm an artist and my friends expect it of me. So, I drew the cutest little picture (see last entry) and it is now an absofuckinglutely adorable tattoo on my left shoulder blade! I love it, its even better than my fox tattoo (which I still love, but this is my own drawing).
Ashlee came along to be moral support. That was wonderful, and definitely necessary. I did not pass out this time (chalk it up to a bowl full of rice and stuffing, 2 bananas, an arizona raspberry iced tea and some orange juice beforehand). The last time I did this I hardly ate beforehand. my mother taped up the tattoo last night before i went to bed and boyy did she tape it up hard. It took me like 20 minutes to remove the bandage. I think for now I'm going to leave it uncovered lol. I ran it under warm water last night, and will probably do the same tonight. I have been rubbing it down with A&D lotion and I can't wait til its all healed and looking awesome!
In other news, the tank is looking GREAT! There are now 3 crayfish (2 small and 1 quite large), 6 teeny tiny tiger barbs (from the excursion to Rumford Pet Center yesterday), 4 albino tiger barbs (from Petsmart), and two zebra danios left over from the old tank (I cannot believe they are still alive and btw are chasing the little barbs around like crazy fish).
