I think I would appreciate your idiosyncrasies
and how loudly you snore in your sleep.
Yes, I think I would love that and even the bags under my own eyes.
I would love how you always cook dinner.
I would love doing your laundry.
I think in forty years I would love how your teeth have yellowed
and your hair has fallen out.
I think I would have taken it;
had I ever been given the chance to love you.
