Last Saturday night I washed 8 yards of flocked fabric. It is no longer flocked. That was stupid of me but the fabric is still useable.
Monday night I washed 3 yards of a brushed cotton that FELL APART in the washing machine. I pulled out a handful of strings and small bits and then cleaned the rest of the fluff out of the drum. I then rewashed the other fabric I had in there with it because it was now covered in fluff too.
And the car spent half of last week in the shop because I heard a noise that was scary and they couldn't find the noise. This week the car is back in the shop and this time I really broke something: the differential suspention rod or some such thing. I swear it's what I broke last time however they swear they checked it and it was fine last week. Doesn't matter because I feel vindicated.
Of course - I could have replaced the washer and dryer with what I've spent on the car in the past week and have gotten delux front loaders to boot. The sucky part is that now I have to save even longer to get a new washer and dryer and I doubt it's going to be delux.
