(no subject)
Well, it seems as if I update my community more than I update my own journal anymore. Sometimes I tell myself I'll write, but then I end up not doing it.
So, let's see. Lots to catch up on.
My mom is finally back home in Philly for good now. She came home last weekend. She's staying with my sister and her boyfriend for a time until she gets working and saves up some money again to get her own place. I'm really glad she's home, and I know that she is glad to be home too.
Jessica and I have been doing well. She started school last week at Venus Beauty Academy. She's studying Cosmetology. She really seems to enjoy it there, and I'm glad she does. I want her to be happy. On Friday night, I took Jess on a cruise here in Philly called the Spirit of Philadelphia. It was really nice. I didn't tell her we were doing it, and when we got there and she saw what we were doing, she was so surprised. It was a really nice three hour cruise. Very elegant and festive. Plus, the views of Philly from the ship were awesome! If you want to know more about the cruise we took, check out the website Spirit of Philadelphia.com. They have a virtual tour on the site, and pictures too. It was a really nice time, and Jess loved it, which makes me happy.
Work has been...well...work. Ok at times, and annoying at times. My boss seems to be taking advantage of me for some reason. It seems as if everyday that I come back to the warehouse to load my truck, my boss comes to me asking me for favors, and to do this and do that. With the job that I have, I do my route, come back and load my truck, and then my day is done. That's it. When I'm done loading my truck, I'm done, and all I want to do is go home. Not run around all over the place doing things that I'm not getting paid anything extra for. No way. He almost screwed up my plans on Friday by asking me to do stuff when I was done. But, I took care of that. When I have plans, I don't like them getting messed up. So yeah, another week at work starts tomorrow. Oh yay.
Tickets for SmackDown! in Trenton, New Jersey went on sale yesterday. I got my ticket for it, and I got a really good seat too. I'm actually going to the show by myself. lol. This will be the first time I've ever gone to a WWE event by myself. It's cool, though. Jess said she doesn't want to go to SmackDown! this time. So yeah, I got floor seats right near the ring. Section 7, Row 4, Seat 4. Right next to the entrance. I had the same section for RAW there this past February but I was row 7. Check out the seating chart below to see where I'll be sitting.
I'm also anxiously awaiting to find out when the tickets go on sale for the WWE Supershow here in Philly on July 3rd. I'm so glad we're finally getting one. The best part about it being on the 3rd is that the next day is the 4th of July, and that means off from work. I love it. Also, going to SmackDown! this June will mark my 22nd event I've been to since June of 1997! I can't believe I've been to so many. lol. It just goes to show how much of a fan I am.
Oh yeah, I bought this awesome game for Playstation 2 a few weeks ago called Guitar Hero. It's an awesome rhythm game that uses an actual guitar controller just like Dance Dance Revolution uses a dance mat. Check it out here at Guitar Hero.
