Character Name: Axel
Character's Age: Twenty-one.
Birthdate: 31st January. Nobody date is 9th October.
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts.

History: Once upon a time Axel did not exist. That is, until his 'somebody' was killed, and a heartless and nobody were created. He is that nobody - though Axel tends to like keeping it to himself who his somebody truly is.
Axel is one of the more or less 'special' nobodies which take on a form similar to humans, except for the fact they don't have hearts. These nobodies soon found they could command the lesser nobodies - and Axel found himself on the doors of the Organization, a group of former lab assistants who had been investigating heartless, but had died themselves in the process, now nobodies. Axel was taken into the Organization, number eight, and soon came to be known as 'The Flurry of Dancing Flames' due to his apt nature over controlling fire.
Axel never particularly enjoyed the company of his colleagues. At any given opportunity, he would strike them down, or do anything for his own benefit. He really didn't care about anyone else, as nobodies didn't. That was, until Roxas was found and taken in by the Organization. Roxas make Axel feel like a real person again, and the two became fast friends. Even when alliances and rifts formed between the Organization, the pair stuck together. Being allied with other nobodies wasn't uncommon, but the extent of friendship that Axel and Roxas shared was particularly uncommon - like any normal human beings with a heart.
About the time when Roxas became settled into the Organization, the group began to notice Axel's attatchment to Roxas, and decided it best to separate them. Axel was placed with two others, Marluxia and Larxene, in Castle Oblivion. Here, Axel came in contact with Sora - which, just happened to be Roxas' true self. Axel could not bring himself to ever harm Sora, probably for the wish that he and Roxas could one day reunite. Sora battled his way through the castle, Axel giving vague hints to Naminé to fix the magic she was working, and even betraying his fellow members to keep Sora 'safe'. Upon his arrival at the top, Naminé put Sora to sleep to regain his true memories - which led to Axel returning back to Roxas and the Organization, with the grave news that Sora had 'defeated' Marluxia and Larxene, and that Zexion, Laxeus, and Vexen, were also deceased.
During his time away, however, Axel came to find Roxas had been given his own mission. Which had let to him encountering Riku, which meant Roxas had become curious about his origins. Though he wanted to tell him what he knew, he was sworn to secrecy, and he'd already caused enough uproar in the Organization as it was to mess it up further. Roxas did not heed Axels' pleas to remain with him on the edge of the Org. - which led to Roxas disappearing, having been beaten by Riku on his second encounter. Dismayed, Axel spent most of his waking moments visiting Sora, trying to figure out just where DiZ - the man Riku worked for - would have taken him. He knew, from reports, that Roxas had definitely he his memories wiped, but that didn't change anything. Albeit, it was probably Axel's fault the Organization discovered the location of the sleeping Sora. In discussion with her, Naminé made the decision that Sora should be returned to New Sanctum. After Sora's return, Axel had more time to brood - and it hit him, just where Roxas would be. More than likely, the very place DiZ would think he wouldn't look, Sora's true home.
It's taken Axel many months to slip away from the Organizations sights and venture to New Sanctum without being caught. Now he has, he's desperate to reunite with him once again, or use any means - or anyone, for that matter - to get there.
Personality: Axel is one of those guys who either likes someone or dislikes someone. Despite that fact, he shows very little care about anyone else. The only person he ever really cared about was Roxas, because, as he states, it made him feel like he had a heart. Despite this, if probed and in a helpful mood, he is the up-most loyal and will just about do anything for that person - unless of course, he decides that he can't be bothered and pulls out. He's quite laid back, and enjoys tormenting others for his own benefit. But, when he gets angry, he shows it.
Being ruthless, if given an order by anyone he will continue it till it's fulfilled. However he's a bit of a rebel, so he may take a while to actually do it. He has been, as of late, classified 'traitor' by the Organization for killing - or helping out in the killing - of several members for no apparant reason.
Axel generally likes to speak in riddles, or make up various catch phrases that he adds on to the end of his sentences - his favorites being 'Got It Memorized?' and 'Commit It to Memory.'
Powers/Combat Skills: Wields a pair of chakrams for hand to hand combat. He reigns supreme with the element of fire, hence his name in the organization. He can manipulate walls of fire, shots, anything along the line. Can also use portals in the darkness to get from place to place. Commands the 'assassin' nobodies.
Extra: Has no emotion, due to having no heart. But Axel remembers what it was like to have a heart, so consequently, can act like an average person.
In canon: The eight member of the myserious organization, Axel gives Sora hints during his stay in Castle Oblivion at what he and the other members truly are. He has an attatchment to Roxas, which leads to him following him to Twilight Town in the beginning of the second game.
