(no subject)
OK, so today has been a pretty all-around shitty day. To start off with, i had to go through a day of hell (aka Thursday block day). Chemisty, English, Math, and History. Well, that actually (it turns out) has been the best part of my day. Within the safe walls of our own talawanda. I get to go and have a shitty riding lesson, and now...i am not the last licensed bubble member who has not done something stupid.
After my lesson, i'm about to go to work. I go out onto the road to find piles of icy snow everywhere. I decide i'm not going to drive to millville. I call and cancel.
Now, i'm driving down Lanes Mills road. I'm going about 5mph because the roads are so bad. Slowly, my car will not turn or stop. ya, it was fun.
Suddenly, i'm headed for a ditch at about 3mph now....so slowly.... anyways, my car slowly but surely crawls into a ditch. oh yes, a ditch. this was great fun. Don't you love it when you have absolutely no control over something. my car just slid right in.
so anyways, the barn manager from Sarah's barn is driving down the road and she stops to help me call a tow truck. my mom shows up and we get ahold of AAA and we sit there for an hour and a half. Then, they show up just as it's about to get dark, and pull it out.
Luckily, the front of the car is made for this kind of accident and so the material is like...plastic? and it just popped back into place for the most part. there's a little crease above the front right tire, but what can you do???
well, this is being really complicated...so i'll do a post in an hour or so with the pictures with the back of my car 3 feet off the ground!
