Thanksgiving Weekend
With Tamara being an international student and all, she came home with me for Thanksgiving. On the Friday night, we wanted to go out to see a movie. When we called Movie Phone and listened to the list of movies, and we knew none of the titles. Waterloo is such a lil bubble, I dunno what's going on in the outside world. Anyhoo, the only movie we knew was Wallace and Gromit, so we saw Wallace and Gromit. Very cute movie, almost better than the lil cartoons that used to come on YTV back in the day.
Saturday, we went shopping, then out to Dave and Busters with a bunch of people. It's basically a grown up Chuck-E-Cheese. We had fun though and won so many tickets. But what am I gonna do with all the stuffed animals I got?
Sunday was more shopping, then dinner at my Uncle Maxie's. It was my first year drinking there. We all had some coolers afterwards and Uncle Maxie was just looking at us weird when we brought down the empties. Whatever, we had fun.
On Monday, I actually got some work done. I finished my lab and some of my reading. Steve and I went out alone for about an hour for just some "us time". Then we headed back.
As soon as I got back to the Loo, I did some work, did some reading, and prepared for my interview that was today. I think the interview went ok, but then again you always leave an interview feeling like you did a good job. We'll see what happens, I don't wanna jinx anything. More interviews Friday though.
