Psalm 139: 13 - 16 (NIV)

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Isn’t it amazing that God knew you before you were even born? You are God’s handiwork. The way you act, look, talk, laugh, and every characteristic that makes you who you are have all been orchestrated by God. God is not in the business of making junk. He has created you just the way He wants you so that His purposes may be accomplished.

In the Old Testament, it was David who stated that “…I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” He knew that it was God who formed his very being and deserved all the praise. He also understood that God had mapped out a life perfectly-fit for the way God had created him.

God has created you just the way He wants you. You are perfect through the eyes of the Father. Not only that, He has also created a life that is perfect for the way He created you. I encourage you to take some time and cherish God’s creation - you. And not only that, give God all the praise because “…you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
