Lentils
Another great lesson was learned today at Mars Hill. Its funny how this works, but apparently life is too full of lentils. Rob taught us about esau, and how he gave up his birthrite for lentils, things of temporary fulfillment. Yet this was so unfulfilling, yet so fitting to society where we often are distracted and lose sight of the bigger, more fulfilling picture. I wonder how much this applies with me, with rowing and girls and such and such, or even the lack there of. Its frustrating because I seem to have so much going on just in the temporary that I don't know if I can ever get to focus more long term. We'll see though, hopefully things get clearer.
