Okay, let me clarify: why can't the college that I want to attend and all of the colleges that my friends want to attend all be in one big happy city?

Becasue then that city would probably suck. There is an upper limit to the number of colleges you can sanely have.

When I have taken over the world, there will be one SUPERCOLLEGE aka Grand High Central University located in scenic Luxembourg.

On the other hand, why can't we all go to the same university? I'm going to miss everyone.

Because some of us want to be far away from everyone else.

Because: then we would not grow as people. As much as I want to keep in touch with everyone, it'll be a whole nother four more years - just as much time as we spent at TJ. And hey, girl, I'm counting on college to find nice guys, so keep your college-relocation to yourself. :P

If Alice were here, she would point out that if we do not go to colleges far apart from each other, we won't be able to take cross-country road trips in psychadelic vans to visit to each other. Millie, look out for us around October!

Hehe. I'm not saying that we wouldn't all go to our own schools and stuff. But they would just all be nearby, contained on their own little happy campus. And connected through some city like Boston through some decent transportation system like the T. So we could have nothing to do with each other if we wanted, could take a psychadelic van across the city... and there'd be plenty of opportunity to find good guys (and hey, with so many colleges, you'd have SO many more options! :)
