This is probably bad. Rather than doing homework/studying for quizzes and such, I'm checking the PW and the Fairfax Co. schools webpages to see if school has been delayed yet.

But this weekend was pretty happy, except for the few hours in which mom was really stressed out, like she gets every year. But happy things:
-Finally finishing Jessy's quilt and giving it to her
-Winter trainings in which we end ~10-15 minutes early
-Buying flowers for my parents' anniversary- and finding out that my dad forgot (put me on really good terms with my mom :)
-Baking. A lot. And not having too many disasters...
-Speaking of disasters, yay for randomly accidentally making fudge-like stuff by putting a bit of milk into a bowl of melted chocolate chips.
-Making a gingerbread house
-Randomly making a cd of Christmas music
-Having people over that I haven't seen for awhile, and everyone being in a good mood
-Seeing friends that I haven't seen in forever
-Having one friend drop in at the end of the party, and spending ~2 hours talking to him and my mom (and I haven't seen him since... August?)
-Having money to go x-mas shopping with (but it's unhappy that I still don't know what to get)
-The hope that there'll be no school tomorrow. And regardless, snow is happy :)
