Woah
Yeah I am clearly sucking on resolution number...wait was it one or two? Hmm well the one that meant I'd keep up this journal is clearly the one I currently suck balls on.
In other news this month has really been a whirlwind of meeting new people and going for new things.
Liquid Fun came in second in the college beanpot (though between you, dear reader, and myself, I thought Liquid Fun was far more glorious)
C keeps making this analogy to the Mighty Ducks, she thinks that the judges thought LF was the Hawks because we had the polished look while peapod were all grungy and the underdogs. I don't think it's quite that simple but then again C's fierce loyalty to LF is like a nice sip of hot cider so its all good. We were at our best, and despite J's intimidating confidence in the team he was coaching (who were actually pretty damn awesome), Liquid Fun was just as good as the other teams...man I am going to miss these people.
On a social scale things have been pretty cool actually. I've become pretty good friends with the aforementioned J from IB. I hung out with J and his super cool graduate/ IB friends on friday night. K is v. cool though sometimes can be a bit indimidating. I keep thinking "be witty! be quick humored!" because he really is on his game. He actually reminds me alot of SPS when I first met him. J is also v. clever but in a more JM kind of way.
We missed JM hardcore on Saturday and I sensed the slightest taste of bitterness in his IM's to me after the beanpot. Not that I blame him...honestly I'd probably burn down the RHA office if it meant I could go to IB for that beanpot.
In other news my room is FREEZING! but with the upped electricity costs I'm hesitant to use my spaceheater...thus I am wrapped in my red cloak from the ren faire. It's pretty cozy given that my room is about 50 degrees *shudder*
I did manage to 1) do laundry 2) Organize my closet (aka yaffa blocks) and everything looks so neat and folded!
Okay off to learn lines and be off-book!
