I'm endlessly going through studies trying to correct things. Every now and then my program crashes and causes me much anguish and annoyance. Fucker.
1) Packing. Yeah, this would be ... useful. Included in this would be cleaning out the clothes closet, kitchen stuff, and other various junk that we no longer need/want.
2) Dry cleaning. All of my suit jackets are wrinkly, and it's just plain time to clean my suits, since I'm going to have to be wearing them again.
3) Alterations. I have two suits and one pair of suit pants that I cannot wear because they are wrong in some way. Mostly because the pants are too long.
4) Laundry. I need to put up clean laundry some day.
5) Figure out just how the hell we're doing this moving thing... and when. We pick up our keys on the 20th, but I have an MSO rehearsal that morning till noon, and a concert that night at 8 (call is at 7:15). Is there enough time in there to really do anything? Or should I save that stuff for Sunday? And what will Sky's work schedule be like? Should I just save all moving activity until the weekend of Thanksgiving? Bah! Hmm, maybe it would be worthwhile to pick up the keys THIS weekend, pay an extra week's pro-rate and start moving little stuff over this weekend and the next week. Because there are very FEW plans this weekend, as opposed to next weekend. *ponders* Though that would mean setting up utilities TODAY.
6) Set up utilities for the new apartment. Electricity will have to be in Sky's name so we can get a discount from Reliant (assuming we can choose them as our provider). I have to CALL SBC to set up DSL since it's a "fiber to the curb" property. Still debating the continuation of the landline. Edit: So much for the idea of starting moving this weekend..that is unless I can convince the apartment complex to give me the keys on Saturday even though electricity service won't be in our name till next Friday at the earliest. Requests for new electric service have to be made a minimum of 7 days in advance. CAN however set up electric tonight online.. coulda done it now, but I need Sky's driver's license number.
7) Cut my nails and PRACTICE MY VIOLIN. Yes, it would be nice to not suck with a concert coming up.
8) In a related note to 7, find something that qualifies as formal black for said concert.
9) Cancel my EZ-Tag account so they stop sending me postcards about my tags. Ended up calling and "recycling" my tag.. they're sending a new one. Now I just have to call back AGAIN and cancel after I get the new one. Or see about cutting down to one, or something. I don't USE the tollways here... Sam Houston was the only one I used in Houston anyhow..
10) Cleaning. Probably should get started on cleaning the apartment... or just wait till Sky's mom gets here and let her do it... one or the other. :p
I have a MUCH better recording of this symphony than this... too bad it's already packed. :p This one is .. ok-ish.. just seems a little sloppy and lacking in the energy level and POWER in the final movement. Edit: I have much better recordings of BOTH of these pieces... (Symphony No. 9 and Serenade for Strings). The Symphony was lacking in power... the Serenade is just generally lackluster. I would blame it on the inexpensiveness of the CD, but my other recordings didn't cost much either.
Hm, dunno what else to write right now. I'm more than a little out of it... too many thought processes going on at once, and I'm almost completely unable to concentrate on only one of them at a time. Which, of course, is making my current task at work nearly impossible.
