(no subject)
So after yesterdays 'letter' I talked to Tom. He kind of evaded the convo at first but then later he went on the computer adn read it for himself and he was mad. He said he would deal with it.
In a sense I would like to deal with so I could just go ape on his ass but I know that wouldn't help anything (other than my stress level). He got all drunk and such Wednesday ngith and told us he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him and he wanted me to go ring shopping with him. Then he said he wants to try and go back to the rigs for the winter if she will let him and was wondering if he paid $700 a month, if she could live here. I was like 'Um... I'll have to talk it over with Tom.'
But once shit hit the fan, I was like no way! To curb teh urge to stab him to death, I went online and found some cheap houses for sale that they could easily afford, printed them off and gave them to him. Of course he can't take a hint...
On a good note, I'm supposed to hear back whether or not I got one of the jobs I interviewed for on Monday and I also have a second interview that day and a first interview on Tuesday. I think things might actually start to look up.
The first job is in an office at a feed plant. They do all premixes and additives. I really like the job description and think I'd be good at it. But the pay isnt great and its really long days (7-5)
The second job is an office manager for a new cheese plant thats building in town. Again, the job is right up my ally but I'm a little worried about the accounting side of things. I took accounting in college but have never had to use it so I'm a little freaked about it. Also, I don't know what this one pays.
The third one is for a factory here in town. I'd be on a straight shift but I'm nto sure which one. The pay there is great and they have awesome benefits. The downside is, its factory work, and I'm not sure my knees can take being on a line (in a giant freezer)
But either5 way I have three potential jobs so hopefully next week I can post and say I'm employed! Today though, I'm sick as a dog with a horrible cold but even that can't stop me! I'm off to the spa for the day with my mommy :)
