Are you sure about no flowers? They might seem a bit girly but they are romantic. You might also try candy.

Something homemade if you don't think any of that'll work. Someone around here was a songwriter but I keep forgettin' who since I'm not used to looking at these things regularly. A song might be good, you could get some help?
