This should help.
I consider this a favor. It doesn't come for free.
Elder Races
[Beneath this, there are three sets of quietly elegant sketches, profile and straight-on, of human, elf and demon. Key differences are pointed out with little arrows - the ears, elegant features, height.]
Nymphs
[This begins with the dryad, which is humanoid with a brownish-green tint to the skin, and tangled hair like twigs. They have extremely tall, pointed ears, that extend above their heads.
Next naiads and nereids, with bluish tint to their skin - nereids a darker color. There's a notation about the smell of fresh-water and the smell of the sea, for each respectively. Same ears as dryads, hair that flows like water.
Finally, oreads, with skin the color of the stone they call home. (Variety is emphasized here.) Same ears as dryads.]
Mermaids
[Here, there are two different sketches, one with a tail, one with legs. The one with legs is notated as indistinguishable from humans.]
Sylphs
[Sketch, again. A note that the wings have a variety of patterns.]
Centaurs
[Male and female.]
Goblins/Orcs
[Goblins have a strange pattern to their eyes - three slitted pupils. Also a note that they have gills, at the top of their rib cage.
The note on the orc emphasizes the similar eyes, but also the slimy skin, often peeling, and low hygiene.]
Dwarves
[Long beards, usually elaborately braided. Females have beards, as well as males. Hardly ever grow above four feet tall.]
Trolls
[Very tall, rocky creatures. Easy to identify.]
