Why do you love me?

Because you're funny and sweet and you listen well. You don't let anyone walk all over me and you don't let anyone walk all over you. You've never once treated me like an inferior. When you laugh, your nose crinkles. I always look forward to seeing you when we're apart, and when we're together, my stomach does flip-flops.

I guess I just haven't been feeling very loveable lately.

Can I tell you a secret? I feel like Rowan's draining the life out of me. I remember being the life of the part once, and these days, I'm just tired. It seems like all I can do to get out of bed some mornings.

I don't think you're alone, feeling that way. The problem is that we've gone from heavy civilization to virtually none. You can't be the life of the party when there aren't any parties.

I don't know. The best we can do is try to live out our lives, I guess.
