Glass blowing. That might be a good thing. I made Gabriel a horrible looking penguin in a class. He knows a little bit about it, but I think he would be surprised at how it's actually done. That would be the best kind of knowledge, don't you think? Things that he knows just enough about to have to guess how they're done. Bigger chance of him being wrong the first time.
Come to think of it, origami could work the same way. Kawasaki roses or peacocks or something else that he's definitely seen but has no idea how to make. Do you know any of the more complex folds? He's seen me do simple ones, but it's quite a leap from a crane to a crested dragon.
David Bowie couldn't hurt. I've never heard him listen to his music, and the life story of a famous musician has got to have a lot of stuff in it too crazy to make up.
Do you think you could try talking to him? I just want to flood him with new things.
