He'd even made a point of telling Bret exactly where he was going to avoid adding any more tension to their already significant accumulation and, as politely as he could, informed him that it was something he wanted to do on his own.

So he stood, a bag in one hand, the other knocking brusquely at the purple door that indicated yes, he was at the right place and hummed a calming hum.
