Who: Hood and Cordelia
What: Probably another awkward conversation
When: Not long after the arrival in Jericho
Where: The Palace
The palace at Jericho was beautiful enough, the accommodations more comfortable and familiar than any he'd had since his arrival in Rowan. The servants were attentive and unobtrusive, and the surroundings were fascinating in their own way. There was plenty to make Hood feel at ease as possible in the current situation.
Unfortunately, his mental state was not one that lent itself to ease. Especially not in the wake of Cho's departure, and the destruction her group found in Mage City. He wanted very much to find something reassuring, something familiar.
So, perhaps against his better judgment, he'd gone looking for Cordelia.
The servants were helpful enough, directing him to the correct door and disappearing as quickly as they were summoned. Well-trained. He was glad they didn't stick around.
Knowing this was probably a stupid idea, and would likely be far more awkward than his conversations with Bret and Cho, Hood raised a hand and knocked on Cordelia's door. Maybe she wasn't in.
