Cho is fidgeting, holding her breath, waiting for something to happen and looking around her nervously, scanning faces and compiling a list in her mind. No Bret yet. No Tails, no Cordelia, no Cassandra - Kale must be here, but she can't see him. Her throat is dry, scratchy, and after a moment of feeling like an idiot for even considering it, she tips her head back and opens her mouth. That's better, but not much.
She looks at Niko out of the corner of her eye, fingers twitching, and she raises one hand and traces the symbol for null-magic in the air, throwing it away from her, only it doesn't go. It snaps back and burns her hand and she bites her lip and winces. She has to concentrate. She's no good to anyone if she can't focus. She tries again, breathing in and out to a measured beat in her mind, and this time when she throws the symbol away from her, it cuts through the wind and the water. She has no idea if it actually did any good. She hopes so.
She's still scanning the crowd. A flash of red draws the eye to Cris, and there's Bret with him. Thank God. At least she's sure he's all right... for the moment. She's turning in a full circle now, and finally she sees Kale, looking surprised and almost hurt at the same time, but he's there, and she just needs-- something. So she's moving, because while there might not be much she can do, she'll feel better if she's near him.

"Hey, Cho," Kale greeted, a little wearily, when he sees her. He'd just told Royal that Mikney wanted to help when Mikney took matters into his own hands.
Well, if they didn't all drown, at least Kale would be able to ask him questions without worrying about giving things away anymore. Of course, Mikney might blast him again, but it would be worth the risk.

Cho nodded her head, then pushed wet bangs out of her eyes. "Yeah, I... yeah." Cho looks up at the hole in the wall, because... damn. "We're in trouble, aren't we?" she asks, one hand already forming the symbol to throw, and the other reaching for Kale, squeezing as hard as she can. This is just so many different kinds of fucked up, she can't even deal with them all. What she can do is the one thing that's been asked of her, systematically and quickly and as many times as she possibly can. So she does.
