In the evening on Sunday, near sunset, the demon army returns.
Or, partially, anyhow.
The party seems to consist of only those on horseback. Warriors and majiks, the highly skilled of the army, with Royal at the head. They enter the city, greeted by enthusiasm, shouts, and an almost immediately assembled crowd (how do the demons do that, anyhow?).
But the real interesting part isn't that the leadership of the army has returned. It's the figure on foot, hands tied to the saddles of the horses on either side.
She's a woman -- older, old enough that her hair is less "streaks of grey" and more "streaks of brown". And yet, she has an incredible power to her presence, a dignity that even her dirt-streaked clothing, injuries, and obvious fatigue cannot hide.
Her ears are pointed.
Kale, Niko, Markon, Royal and Nazarene are all with the procession, and all may be flagged down.
