Who: Cordelia and Cassandra
What: Shenanigans
When: Friday
Where: Cordy and Cherry's place
Cassandra never really liked walking through Jhelbor. She enjoyed taking in the outside world, beyond the walls, but walking around the city itself generally meant a high probability of running into someone who didn't like her. At one time in her life, she had had the energy to hiss and spit at anyone who glanced at her cock-eyed, but these days, she found she had mellowed. Not that anyone would really know the difference, but she knew it and that was enough for her.
She wouldn't have been taking this walk at all, if Cordelia hadn't left the shawl behind at the Stoat. Cassandra was pretty sure it belonged to Cordelia and while it was just a shawl, with the worldwalkers, nothing was ever just itself. For all she knew, the shawl had some precious meaning to Cordelia. A gift from Cherry, perhaps. Or Jacob Hood. One person's sentiment was always mysterious. And so she would return it to Cordelia before going on her way.
Finding Cordelia's place took a big longer than expected. Cassandra realized that she hadn't visited in...ever. No matter. She knocked on the door and stepped back, shaking her hair back behind her shoulders. The humidity had swollen the curls to twice their normal size, but Cassandra didn't much care.
