After being transported back to Jhelbor, Bonnie had found herself famished. As strong as the desire to go find Damon was, she needed to find something to eat first. Finding the deer in the woods had been fairly exciting--finding small game to feast on was easy, there was plenty to go around. Finding anything larger than a rabbit was a little harder.
With grace and power that contrasted with her tiny frame, Bonnie caught up with the deer and brought it down to the ground. A quick snap of the neck to put the deer out of pain and Bonnie was feasting, feeling securely hidden in the thick grove of trees that surrounded them. The forest floor was dense and covered with foliage. If anyone tried approaching, she would hear them.
