It might've had something to do with discovering that there were no druids around anymore. She'd hit a dead end already. That was just great.
In hindsight, maybe she would've had better luck if she'd let anyone in on her theory. As it was, she'd jumped into searching so mindlessly that she'd lost track of time, and now she'd spent days digging on her own and was pretty much ready to hand it off to someone else.
In a rare moment of weakness, she expressed her frustration by kicking a nearby wall. Which, of course, hurt like hell. God, she was such an idiot.
